There may be situations in which the student is separated from their parent/carer or learning support team. Identification wallets are useful in that they provide an overview of basic information about the student.
This ensures that the right person is contacted in case a student is in danger, specifically when they cannot verbally communicate it. Additionally, identification wallets can let people know how to communicate to them, such as the student responding well to yes or no questions.
